http://www.fishingvideos.com"We had a bit of a long day today," said the Shogun's report for June 30, "with some pretty rough seas that made fishing a little on the tough side. Most of our morning we spent hopping kelps for a few handfuls of yellowtail. But it turned around a bit for us in the afternoon. It started with a jig strike on a nice sized dorado and before we knew it all our rods were bent over with quality 30 lb. bluefin. Unfortunately it only lasted one go around, and as fast as they got on us they were gone again. We were able to jig up a couple more dorado, but that was it for the rest of our day. On a positive note we were able to cover a lot of water today and found some very nice water conditions that we may be able to check later in the trip under with some nicer weather conditions. Tonight we plan to head a little further south to the yellowtail grounds and should arrive in the early am hours tomorrow morning."
