Anglers are pulling in a variety of catches from trout to striper along with catfish using an assortment of bait. Trout have begun to slow down and move deeper into the lack due to the increasing summer temperature. PowerBait colors in white, chartreuse, rainbow, spring green and fluorescent orange followed by power bait 3" floating trout worms in white and chartreuse used with or without power bait trout attractant. Berkley gulp 2.5" trout worms in white, chartreuse, bubblegum or fluorescent orange are popular too. Stripers are being pulled in with anchovies. 7 inch power worms, rapalas, senkos, spinner and crank baits are dominating in lures this week pulling bass off their beds. For catfish mackerel, anchovies, stink bait or the different varieties of dough have worked well in the south end of the lake. Catfish are being pulled in much more frequentlythan other fish due to the recent plants and warmer temperatures. Visit our marina for the latest hot spots and fishing information on your next visit.
