http://www.silverlakeresort.netFishing at Silver Lake and Rush Creek in the June Lake Loop has slowed down a little in the the quantity of fish caught this week, but not in the quality. We are coming off a full moon from the beginning of the week and are still fighting temperatures in the mid 80's that are making the water temperatures really warm but there are still plenty off good fish out there to be caught thanks to another 900 pounds of nice size catchables put in mid week from DFG. Also, Silver Lake should be getting another load of Alper's Trout in the next week or so that will only help the good fishing to continue. The best bet this past week is to get out on the water early, before the sun gets on the water and use a Thomas Buoyant lure, a lip Ripper or a worm. Once the sun is up on the water, the fish are heading towards the bottom of the lake for some cooler water so try using Berkley's Salmon egg Red or Garlic Dough Baits. Angler's have also done well using Gulp Alive Pinch Crawlers or good old fashioned worms from the bottom. Look for fishing to continue to stay decent as the warm temperatures start to cool off some in the coming weeks.
