A 17 lb. Striper was recently caught at Lake Del Valle

Park Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Last Plant: On August 8th we received 500lbs. of Catfish from Mt. Lassen.
Water Temperature: 78 degrees

This week we had Andrew Kowal bring in a 17 lb. Striper he caught by the Dam using anchovies. The fish are still deep in the water and people are catching catfish deep with mackerel and anchovies. Rapalas, senkos and panther martins are being used for largemouth and smallmouth bass.

Water Temperature: 74 degrees Trout season has reached its end due to the warm weather. 7" power worms and minnowbaits are being used for smallmouth and largemouth bass. The best locations are anywhere there are fallen trees or other types of cover. However panther martins seem to be the most successful lately.......
