Last Plant: September 6th, 500 lbs. of Catfish from Mt. Lassen.
Water Temperature: 78 degrees

The lake is just starting to turn over and the visibility is minimal to medium. The water level is up from last week, and down about 8 ft. from normal. The fishing is starting to pick up. They are catching Striped Bass on anchovies. They are catching Catfish on anchovies, mackerel, chicken liver & shrimp. The Sturgeon bite has been coming on. They are hitting on Ghost Shrimp. We expect the trout bite to start in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully the Striper bite will start as well. People have had a lot of luck fishing for catfish under cover, under trees & rocks.
