"We started our morning off with good yellowtail fishing," said Shogun's report for October 1. "Yoyo jigs and dropper loops were the ticket for very nice fish of 16 to 25 pounds. We were able to sack up about 80 before moving on. It wasn't long before we found some huge Mahi. We caught two over 35 pounds and also hooked five marlin, all released on that stop. No sign of wahoo today but hopefully that will change tomorrow. We're still heading south. The weather is absolutely beautiful today, about 85 degrees with a light breeze."
