"We spent the morning fishing school size tuna on porpoise," noted Red Rooster III's report for October 3. "Things didn't get busy until about 9:00 and then we had steady action until we left it to do an evening for yellowtail. A few nice dorado mixed in today and all in all a very nice day of fishing. With the great weather our hopes are up for one last hit tomorrow offshore. After we get bait tonight we will head up and look for a few better grade fish. Lets hope it works out."
