http://www.venturasportfishing.comAll the islands had great weather with solid fishing! Pacific Dawn caught limits of lingcod, plus limits of fat reds and more at San Miguel Island. The Gold Coast Lady Anglers had a private charter with the Island Spirit. They had awesome shallow water bottom fishing at the local islands, producing a wide variety of species.
We have seen great fishing for red snapper, lingcod, sheephead and whitefish. Recomended tackle is 12oz, 8oz and 4oz torpedo sinkers with 3/0 and #1 hooks. Bring a lite rod just in case the bass want to bite (12lb.-15lb setup).
