The annual Fisherman's Landing extravaganza, Tackle Day, was going strong in the parking lot at the landing when Bill Roecker was there early Saturday to cover Searcher and Vagabond.

Pete Gray and Rock Cod Rick were holding forth with guest star Brian Sims when Bill Roecker came past with his camera. Most of the exhibitors were still getting set up that early Saturday morning. Gary Teraoka pictured above was working on reels and other fishing apparatus. Even Mitch's Café was there, setting up the coffee and the grill for burgers and breakfast sandwiches. The day started out sunny and warm, a good sign for an event that usually draws many anglers to the docks once a year.
