"Another day of just pure quality Tuna from 160 to 220 pounds," said the report from Intrepid December 11. "We didn't have as many as yesterday and the skipjack out here really made it tough trying to fly-line a sardine out away from the boat. You had to get away from the rig with a balloon or on the kite to avoid them, or better yet was to just use the skippie for bait! We had many of our fish today on the skipjack. The weather seems to be calming down finally and we hope to enjoy a couple more days of this fine fishing going on right now.
