Shogun has been fishing on some large-grade yellowtail, fish big enough to call "slugs." This report from the boat arrived December 29: "Well today we could do no wrong. We caught fish on every stop thought the day. One stop lasted for about three hours, which fixed everybody up on Mexican limits of yellows. Big fish was close to 40 pounds, caught on the surface iron; all around a perfect day. We are starting to roll up the line with flat calm seas. Shogun chef put out a delicious dinner, which added to the good vibe on the boat."
