We arrived to the Lower Zone just before lunch and found a nice hit on wahoo right out of the gate. The hot ticket was the Salas 6Xjr in pink, or black and orange. There is also pretty good sign of tuna of all sizes. Some schools have 30-50 pounders and others are straight big ones. We scratched steady at 40-140 pounders throughout the day. The big ones showed up at dark and we hooked five and landed four; all four were cows. Xavier Vega and Jason Smith both had fish right at 200. Pete Price picked up a 202, and Joe Lanoue boated a 205. Great job. The whole boat is buzzing with excitement and we are just getting started. Wish us luck.
