http://www.royalpolaris.comMOVING NORTH (011413)!!! Hello everyone; Well our weather is about the same, just a lot colder. The air temp was a bit cooler down south, but it's a lot colder moving north. Yesterday was our last day of fishing, and we had two more fish over 200 pounds, which brings our total to 20 over the 200 pound mark. Since this is Taka's tackle 20th anniversary (for the long trip), it was a great mile stone. Largest fish of the trip and was caught yesterday by the chartermaster Taka Tanaka, of south Central Los Angles. The other 200 pound Yellowfin was caught by Susan Gentry, which came in at 243 pounds. The list of 200 pound fish caught on the trip: Taka Tanaka 216, 293 Susan Gentry 257 Gary Ahsing 204 John Corrigan 234 Melvin Tanaka 211 Steve Gato 230 John Woodard 243 Robert Maes 251, 267 Bob Ito 257 Craig Ito 224 Jack Preston 236 Ron Watanabe 230 Duane Grey 274 Ron Kusumi 263 Zack Mouradian 218 Calvin Fujimoto 201, 243 Kim (aka Kin) Hofer 243 What a trip, 20 years of good fishing with the group from Taka's tackle. With that note, wish us luck on the weather. The R/p crew. "BeNt RoDs 4 LiFe"
