The Trout were on the bite at Lake Del Valle

Marina Hours: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
Park Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Last Plant: On February 27, 2013 500 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen were planted. On 2/28/2013 2,500 lbs. of Trout from DFG were planted.
Water Temperature: 58 Degrees

The water clarity is minimal but things seem to be picking up a bit this week. The smallmouth bass are hitting Zara top water Spooks. The Black Bass have been hitting roboworms, jigs and slow moving artificial lures. Striped Bass are starting to hit Anchovies and rebel rainbow trout jerk bait. Trout are hitting nightcrawlers, Mice Tails and PowerBait. Catfish are hitting Anchovies.
