The San Diego has called in with 33 yellowtail in the 20-30lb range with lots of time left to fish for the day. Make sure to bring 40-50lb mono and yo yo jigs for this trip. The San Diego departs daily at 5:30 am to fish the Coronado Islands.

The New Seaforth has been having great rockfish counts on its half day trips. We offer two trips a day aboard the New Seaforth departing at 6am and again at 12:30pm.

3/4 day Yellowtail are still biting the yo-yo jig pretty well but casualties are high due to the large grade of fish (20-30 pounds). The wise angler would have fresh line and new or rust free hooks on you jigs. The "no angle, no tangle" mantra applies in a big way to this great grade of Yellowtail. The San Diego's 3/4 day trip had 9 Yellowtail and 22 Rockfish Thursday. Yellowtail are still there but less eager today. Captain Ryan and crew will be back out Friday departing at 5:30am.  The New Seaforth had a 3/4 day charter Thursday with 16 anglers catching 2 Yellowtail and limits of Vermilion Rockfish and plenty of mixed Rockfish to round out a great trip. The six-pack boat Alexes had a 6 person morning 1/2 day charter catch 35 Rockfish and 1 Sheephead.......
