Sunday, the Kokanee are back at New Melones a good friend Dave and I kept 5 koks and released 18 up to 14" and 6 rainbows to 16". We spent most of the day in the spillway and most of the fish were caught on Glitter Bug Chrome Blades towing Glitter Bugs Micro Hoochies in pink. Garlic corn worked well with my root beer corn a close second, most koks were caught from 12' down to 39'.

It was also a good week for browns this week- we put three in the boat with the two bigger ones hitting at the same time, all the browns were caught just past the second bridge rolling shad from 17' down to 27'.

Photos: Pictured Above: That 14" kok with a few 13 inchers is looking good for this year seeing bigger Kokanee.
Photo #1: Vincent caught a limit of rainbows on Friday.
Photo #2: On Monday Don Theile had a double on browns 4 lbs 13 oz and 6 lbs 10 oz.

See Ya On The Water.
