Trout fishing has been fair at 30' to 40' in the river channel. Early morning trolling dodger/crawler combos in the river channel has been productive. Drifting worms up near the dam has been working the rest of the day.

The Bass bite for both smallies and largies with top water lures both early and late with drop shots or jigs during the day.

Catfish action is heating up and there has been some nice stringers of whiskerfish coming out of the Narrows, Cachuma Bay and Johnson's Bay. Cut mackerel and doughbaits have been thhe top bait choices. The Crappie seem to have taken the holiday day off, with very few slabs reported last week. Bow fishing for Carp remains good for anyone targeting them and can be found all over the lake.
