"We started with wind & bumpy seas," posted Vagabond June 2, "but enjoyed calm, beautiful waters during the second half. The fishing was limit style for YT up to 48 pounds (Phil Erickson-JP winner). We had some big Tails escape to the Rocks but that is what makes a good story! We did get a dozen YFT (18 to 25-pound range) with a couple as close as 210 miles. Always a great group on this trip and fun for all. "Looking forward to getting out again next Saturday for a 5-day as the Yellowfin & Bluefin began showing up for our friends on the Shogun. There are a few boats out this week to keep the fish located. We 3 spots left on this trip number two if you want to go for those 100-pound tuna!"
