July 22, 2007 Jan Ishii Charter was as always a great time. Excellent people, fair to excellent weather and finally the fish decided to chew. We had limit fishing for fat Albacore and a few Bluefin. This trip is what we been waiting for, the fish are still very close and in large numbers. They are biting well but remember your 20- to 25-lb outfit as they really like that.

Fishing is tough scratching with moments of hope, all in all were scratching little nice quality Albies and Yellowtail. Okay weather and still lots to see on the meters! Hope they get with the bite mode soon. This trip was twice as good as the last so hope this trend continutes.......

A three-day trip for albacore aboard the Vagabond ended July 18 when skipper Mike Lackey docked his rig at Pt.......
