"What a fun day we had out here on the Bluefin Grounds," reported skipper Kevin Osborne for Intrepid June 18. "A nice grey bite to start the day, a few kelps holding nice grade Yellows plus a few bonus Tuna, then a 4 hour drift on 30 to 50-pounders just after lunch.

"Hot stick of the day was Avet Rep Ben Frazier who put on a great show catching all he wanted whenever he wanted today; they were biting the 40, 50, 60, 80 and even the 100-pound line! By 5 P.M. our group was all showered up having cocktails in the galley asking what we are thinking of doing next! We are headed to calm seas as the wind and weather has picked up pretty good out here today. We will do some fishing around an island for the next day or so then give this offshore scene a check on the way back up."
