The fishing is phenomenal for Black Bass which are now in the post spawn season. They are hitting soft plastic lures such as flukes, Senkos and frogs. Frogs have been on fire the last few weeks, especially when you make short motions in the Tulles with the frog. Be sure to use a braided line, or you may not get the Frog out of the Tulles.
Believe it or not the Trout fishing has picked up this week. Anglers have been getting their limit fishing 30' to 40' in the water column using PowerBait of nightcrawlers.
The Smallmouth fishing is on. They are hitting Crappie jigs or Rapalas. The Crappie fishing is really good using Crappie jigs or Road Runners with curly tailed grub trailers and Shad imitation lures. Catfishing is excellent using Anvhovies, Salmon, chicken liver or anything stinky.
