http://www.fishingvideos.com"Our day started at first light" said Intrepid's report July 8, "when we hooked our first yellow. Shortly after that, we had big yellows crashing off the stern and from that point it was game on. Every bait was bit all morning long, guys fishing the yo-yo jig up the side were getting em, Ryan Gabaldon was killing it with the surface iron, actually getting to see the fish crash on his jig. It was a sight to behold. It was incredible. As good as it gets. Good grade yellowtail in the 18 to 30-pound range. We looked offshore in the afternoon and found warm, blue water. We hooked a couple of striped marlin that we released and some small yellowfin tuna that we also released. We tagged one nice dorado that we picked up on a kelp paddy. The weather is beautiful. We are going to fish our way north."
