http://www.americananglersportfishing.comWe didn't know who was in charge of the weather the last 5 days, but whoever it is , they need a raise. The weather was flat calm all trip, so with that kind of conditions it was easy to have a great trip. Brad Lemoine from Sport Chalet and the large nucleous group of regulars opened their arms and made the "first timers" feel welcome.
Today we took advantage of the weather and did a little albacore fishing. Everyday there seems to be a handful of lucky guys that catch a few fish while the majority of the fleet scratches. This does not have anything to do with their lack of abundance, but purely revolves around their non- biting attitude.
Once again there was plenty of volume seen by everyone, as the common phrase over the air was, "I hope they bite later". We were one of the fortunate ones, as we capitalized on our good morning fishing. We ended up with 82 beautiful albacore for which there is no daily picture because we were.... waiting for later.
