Finally some good news on the fly fishing front. The fish are starting to move into the shallow water in McGee Bay. There are lots of small Browns that have been eager to bite, along with some nice size Rainbows. We have been getting the fish just outside the weed beds in 10 to 11 feet of water. It has been starting out slow in the mornings, then around 10:00 it should start to take off.

The fish have been hitting a number of different flies this week. Albino Barons, Copper Zebras, Copper Tigers, Shafts, Shaft Emergers, and Super Flies have all been working for us. The North Arm in 12 feet of water out from Green Banks Bay has also been producing fish for us. Not as well as McGee, but if you don't like the crowds, it has been a nice place to hide.
