The Bass bite is good in all 7 lakes. Reminder lakes 6 and 7 are reserved for campers only. Make your reservations today. Also all Bass are catch and release. The lakes record is 13 lbs. 8 oz. which could be broken any day. 10 lb. Bass have been caught out of all 7 lakes.
CATFISH:
Lakes 3 and 4 received a stock of Catfish this past Friday which brings us up to 15,000 lbs. of Catfish stocked this summer! The next stock is scheduled for August 16th.
Join us this Thursday, August 8th for Nightfishing! Come fish lakes 1 through 4 from 5:00 pm till 11:30 pm.
Recipe of the Week:
Barbequed Catfish
Ingredients
• 4 (7-ounce) catfish fillets, skinned, de-boned
• 4 tablespoons dry rub
• 6 tablespoons cooking oil
• 1/2 cup hickory chips
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 cup Tartar Sauce, recipe follows
Directions:
Preheat the grill. Coat each catfish fillet with the dry rub. Dip the fish into the oil and place the fillets on a hot grill to establish grill marks. After establishing grill marks and the fillets release from the grill, place the catfish into a smoker. Smoke for 2 minutes using the hickory wood chips. Add water to the chips and steam the fish for another 2 minutes. Remove the catfish from the smoker and serve immediately with tartar sauce.

Adult (ages 16 and over) $9.00 per day
Junior (ages 7 to 15) $6.00 per day
Second fishing pole stamp $4.00
*One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
