Well let me tell you - did we have a long day, some of the boats that fished this area never even caught an Albacore. We ended our day with 8 fish, but we saw enough on our machines to know they're still around.
We coverd a lot of ground to find schools that wanted to bite, but it just never really came together for us.

After a couple of days looking way offshore for some new schools of Albacore, it's time to run back inside and make the best of what's around the local area. We did pick up a dozen fish today in a long, spread-out zone and most of the fish were 10-12 lbs. Maybe our timing was off and/or we weren't in the right spot - but we tried. We have 2 days left for catching, so we have high hopes that......
