Yellowtail ...2nd Place goes to Jon Marsh with his 34.4 lb. Yellowtail and 3rd place Craig Lightner with his 34.2 lb. Yellowtail. Great job guys....We departed today on a 4-day offshore adventure. After getting an early jump, we put on a nice load of sardine and cleared the point just before noon. We are headed down to the water that has been holding both Bluefin and yellowfin. The weather forecast for the next couple days is in our favor with light and variable, 10 knots or less. After an informative tackle seminar, the afternoon was spent rigging tackle and preparing for the fishing days ahead. Dinner was an amazing prime rib dinner with bananas foster for dessert. We fished offshore again today with relatively poor results. The Bluefin were down today and the weather came up as the day progressed. We did scratch out some more of this nice grade yellowfin tuna and had lots of action releasing yellowtail. With this weather up we will be fishing the beach tomorrow. Wish us luck.
