Putting your time in for a few opportunities a day has been typical. Chironomids in the channels can produce. Stripping in leech patterns would not be a bad option. If your looking for Trophy Rainbows this is your place!

Deschutes River- Lower: Steelhead are in the Lower Deschutes from the Mouth all the way to Warm Springs
Deschutes River- Upper: The Upper Deschutes between Little Lava and Crane closes at the end of this month
Metolius River: September on the Metolius a time when the bugs can be insane
Crooked River: The Crooked river has been fishing fantastic with excellent dry fly action!
East Lake: East lake has been tapering off quite a bit, but should pick up when the weather gets cooler
Lava Lake: Both Lava Lakes can be one of the better options during the fall
Hosmer Lake: All the reports that have been coming from Hosmer have been excellent
