Hi Gang... We departed yesterday on our annual Izorline sponsored 11-day trip. After welcoming our anglers aboard and loading gear we pulled away from the dock ahead of schedule. We put on a beautiful load of sardine and cleared Point Loma before noon. We are currently traveling south and our weather is improving from what we had most of the day. We had 20 knots of north west wind most of the day with a good sized following sea. Today was a travel day and everyone enjoyed the slow pace. We had a in-depth tackle seminar and talked about gear and techniques for the fishing days ahead. After the seminar, our trip hostess Shauna Barton conducted an awesome raffle. She raffled off some Seeker rods, Calstar rods, an Okuma Makaira reel, gift cards for Five Star fish processing, everyone received packs of Owner Super Mutu's, and everyone gets free reel fills of Izorline. For dinner tonight our Chefs Mark and Kyle prepared a fabulous prime rib dinner. Everyone is stoked and looking forward to the days to come. "The Intrepid Team"
