We spent the day offshore fishing for Albacore. We woke up to fantastic weather and calm seas. The catching part of the day started early with a few jig stops for a few fish on each stop. It got better as the morning went on as each stop had more and more fish being caught. All the fun, however, came to a screeching halt right after lunch. The fish went down for their typical afternoon siesta. We kept hoping that they would reappear for the afternoon float that never quite showed up like we were hoping for. We did manage to boat a few fish late and had a good time doing so. Overall the day was a success but we will be looking elsewhere tomorrow in the hopes of a little more consistent action and a little variety. "The Intrepid Team"
