Good morning folks. As you read this report it is coming out real time so this is Friday morning the 27th. If you have followed us for the last several days, I'm sure that you could tell that we were offshore fishing. Sooooo, I love it when a plan works out! We had a couple of great days on the quality Yellowfin tuna. However, as of right now, mother nature has let us know that she would like us to move on, as the weather offshore has turned from beautiful to very rude. Yesterday morning it was still ok, but by the afternoon we had 20 knots and the holes were starting to form. Still very comfortable on this boat as those of you that have been on here can attest, but still not as much fun with the wind. So after another awesome day yesterday, we decided to point the beautiful girl south and head for calmer seas. I think that our passengers might think I'm a little ticked at them cause yesterday on the way out of the area, I was still looking for fish, and we get a jig strike, and I come downstairs and there is nobody fishing cause they are all in the galley. Showered,drinking beer, and watching the 49er game! I just shook my head, and walked back out as I muttered something like "fine! if you guys are done fishing, i'll relax too! or me and the crew will fish and you guys can stay in the galley!" All in a joking manner of course. They were all laughing and smiling, as was I. So the last couple days we have had daily limits on the tuna,smiles,laughter,sunshine,and beer! All in all a very nice way to start. The only bummer is that we got some bad bait, so we see bait making in our future! Booooooooooooo!Have a great day, and thanks for checking in!
