We left the dock today for a five day fishing excursion with our binoculars ready.?? We hope to continue to enjoy the calm weather and great kelp paddy fishing that we have enjoyed as of late. After a couple of seminars and even more fish stories Larry Brown pulled out all the stops and had one of his classic raffles that all the anglers were excited about. Nothing like free fishing gear to start off a trip. We are looking forward to a terrific dinner, a good nights rest and 5 days of fishing.?? Day 3 of "Let's Talk Hookup" ??Today we continued our search for kelp paddies. We found that the Dorado were definitely getting bigger and caught what might turn out to be the jackpot in the form of a Dorado weighing in at around 30 lbs plus. We continued searching until late in the afternoon finding several more kelps and adding a good score of Yellowtail and Dorado to our catch. Patrick from Shimano treated everyone to a fun filled raffle and then all enjoyed a great NY steak dinner. These 3 day trips are a great way for anglers to get introduced to long range sportfishing. the crew of the Q105
