http://www.sportfishingreport.comWe kicked off our second SFR charter of 2007 aboard Chuck Taft's beautiful Sea Adventure 80. We shoved off from H&M Landing with 23 salty anglers in search of some angry biters! Although we had high hopes of Albacore, the transitioning water in the previous week had us concerned, however Captain Terry Clayton and Crew led us directly to the heart of the schools.
After we baited up, we immediately raffled off some SFR T-Shirts as well as the very necessary 25 and 30 pound leaders of Seaguar fluorocarbon to ensure we had a successful trip! There were very few jig bites on the troll so we had to rely on Captain Terry's instinct and experience and boy did it pay off! The Sea Adventure 80's sophisticated equipment enabled Terry to mark schools on the side-scanning sonar and each time we circled a school, we managed to pick up several fresh ones.
All in all, we had another successful charter aboard the Sea Adventure 80. The Crew's hospitable service was enjoyed by all of the passengers and the beautiful vessel enabled us to travel in style and comfort! If you havent experienced this operation for yourself, you're truly missing out. Give them a call and tell them SFR sent you! You won't be disappointed! (619) 222-1144
