On Jan. 17, Tom Ogden and Perry Bunderson flyfished from float tubes and caught five cutthroat, three rainbow, one splake and one tiger trout in five hours. All of the fish were in the 13- to 16-inch size range. They used fast-sinking line and various wooly buggers and leech patterns in sizes 4 to 8. The fish were suspended in 25 to 35 feet of water. The inlet and upper portion of the reservoir are covered with ice, but the rest of the reservoir is ice free.
