The last few mornings have been??nice and cool, so this is helping out the water temps a little. The East Walker is still hanging in there, so far! The fishing is tougher than it was a month ago, but if you're willing to work it you should be able to catch some fish. We're strongly advising??using heavier tippets and trying to get those fish in quickly so they can be released without too much stress.??Small gulper specials and tailwater tiny's in the evenings, and in the mornings small midge patterns like zebra's, WD-40's, and rainbow warriors.??From about 10am to 6pm it's??just too warm and the fish seem to really shut down.

Bridgeport Lake is still fishing well, pretty much the same as it has been. It's getting lower by the day, and pretty green, but the fish are still pretty active. Trolling with fire tiger Rapalas or??chartreuese Rapalas, dunking crawlers and power bait,??or fly fishing with blood midges or damsel patterns are the ticket.

The Virginias are??also doing well, beetle and ant patterns, or a fly and bubble rig. Also spoons like Kastmasters are doing well.

We've had some good reports from Twin Lakes the last couple days, power bait off a bobber has been good, as well as crawlers and eggs floated together off the bottom.

I'll be gone for a few days on a Mako Shark fly fishing trip out of??San Diego so I'll fire up another report when I return! Hopefully I'll have all my typing digits when I get home!!!??
