http://www.countyofsb.org/parks/cachuma.sbcLast Thursday 4000lbs. plant of rainbow trout made for good to excellent fishing. Many limits were taken from the shore on the right side of the Marina boom line with just about all methods working. For boaters the bite got better as the week progressed, and the fish dispersed and acclimated. Hot spots have been the mouth of Cachuma Bay, JOhnson's Bay, and the rock walls between Bob cat and Santa Cruz point. Once again Rapalas, Kastmasters, and Yozuri pins minnows, had the best results. Other than a few catfish, all other species are slow at the moment.

Flat lining lures such as Rapala's and Yo-Zuri's, as well as Kastmasters, Super Dupers, and Krocodiles all worked well the past week. The best areas were the mouth of Johnson's Bay, the dam, and between Bobcat and Santa Cruz point. Shore anglers had action to the right......
