Report Date:
http://www.fishingvideos.comSecond skipper Kevin Cleary gave Bill Roecker a quick tour of the Intrepid August 8. The boat appears to be virtually completed, with some detail work to finish. Some of the bunks have bedding on them, and the galley seems nearly done. The decking is tan-colored, rough and a bit soft for good footing.
Cleary said the first sailing date is August 18. Staterooms are relatively spacious, and the light color of the birch wood makes it easier to see below decks. Rooms have sizeable flat screen monitors, and several large monitors adorn the walls of the galley. Anglers are anxious to see the boat start making trips; no doubt the owner and crew are as well. It looks like it won't be long.
