The water is about three feet below full and the ice along the edges is beginning to rot. Anglers report good fishing for rainbow trout and a few larger cutthroat trout. Rainbows averaged about 10-11 inches and the cutthroat are about 14-16 inches. Try small green plastic jigs or ice flies tipped with mealworms and nightcrawlers. There are two air bubblers in the pond, as well as the spring inflow. The water is either open, or contains very thin ice. Do not get close to the bubbler or spring inflow. Garden City Pond is a community fishery and the daily limit is two fish
