This week has had some storms come through with good weather in between and some great catches as well. Water level is slowly rising with rain fall and the lake temperature at the end of the docks is 56 degrees. Trout bite is still doing well with another plant this week. Best thing to use is Night Crawlers and Kastmasters another couple things that are working is Bright Colored Powerbait and Mice Tails; try going along the shore line of the East & West Beach and Lower Narrows either from boat or shore is working well. Stripers are beginning to surface and push up the Trout to feed again later in the day is the best time to try fishing for Stripers with Swimbaits and Anchovies along the Lower Narrows and Swallow Bay. Large and Smallmouth bass are going for what looks more natural such as Night Crawlers, Roboworms medium diving Crank-baits best places to try is the Upper and Lower Narrows along the Rock Walls where the shelf is. No reports on Catfish or Crappie this week, but using anchovies or Chicken Livers in the Shallows for Catfish and Night Crawlers along the Lower Narrows and Across from the Marina is a good place to try for Crappie.
