http://www.fishingvideos.comBob and Sherry Ingles run the annual Queen of Hearts charter aboard the Royal Polaris. It's named after the boat they operate out of Half Moon Bay, and the charter returned after its 12th annual trip to Fisherman's Landing August 6 with a good catch of mixed fish, following five-days led by skipper Billy Santiago Jr. Bob and Sherry posed with a brace of fine yellowtail.
"Guadalupe Island was steady for good tuna on our second day of fishing," said Sherry, "and then we had some run ???n gun stops on the way home for yellowtail, dorado and small yellowfin, often on the same paddy."
Stanley Wong of San Jose won first place for an 89.8-pound yellowfin he bagged with a squid on a 7/0 Mustad Demon hook. He said he used 80-pound clear Izorline and 100-pound Izor Spectra backing on a Tiagra 30 reel and a Calstar 6555 XH rod.
"It seemed like hours," said Stanley, who got the fish to the boat in 30 minutes. "It was tough, because there was no current."
Jesse Lara of Sunnyvale was second, for a 68.8-pounder, and Chris Reid of Cedar City, UT was third, for a 62-pound yellowfin tuna.
