Calder Reservoir Fish Report

Utah Division of Wildlife

Report Date:

http://wildlife.utah.gov

Last week, anglers reported fair to good fishing. They also said that the ice was deteriorating and there was some open water around the edges, mostly against the far bank. The high winds could shred the ice at any time, but it has been reforming at night. The access roads are muddy because of the recent rain and snow storms. Give the roads a few days to dry out, rather than risking hundreds of dollars of damage. Calder has catch-and-release regulations. You must use flies and lures only -- bait is not allowed. See the Utah Fishing Guidebook for details.
