What a Trip! We hit the Buffer Zone and it's fishing grounds with perfect timing as conditions were on the upswing and we made the most of our fishing time as well, spending a full 7 days in that zone. Lots of new personnel bests with 20 something fish over 200lbs and 250 Tuna all together, 125 Wahoo, and plenty of other tasty fishes as well. With Giant Tuna fishing comes big heartbreaks as well, none bigger than Craig Sauter's, who had a real Giant only 10ft from gaff when the fish chewed through the 100lb line and swam away free. Craig smiled and said what a fight!! True sportsman that he is, had a cold beer and got back in the water and continued to have a great trip!
