http://wildlife.utah.govSolid ice covers most of the lake, but the edges are starting to soften in a few places, so use caution. There may be a couple more weeks of ice fishing left. The patch of open water around the Twin Creeks area is growing, and some anglers are now catching rainbows from the shoreline. Fishing remains good to excellent for perch and rainbows in 15-30 feet of water. You can catch larger rainbows in deeper water. Fishing for splake and lake trout is slow to fair. Tip your jigs and spoons with mealworms, waxworms, nightcrawlers, perch meat, or sucker meat. Call the Fish Lake Lodge at 435-638-1000 or the Quiet Fly Fisher fly shop at 435-616-2319 for up-to-date conditions and fishing reports.
