Report Date:
http://wildlife.utah.govFarmington Pond was recently stocked with 1,000 9-inch rainbow trout. Fly anglers are having the best success, catching trout on sub-surface flies. Bait anglers are also catching fish near the shore and close to the surface. Comorants have started coming to the area. The fish tend to stay near the shore and on the opposite side of the reservoir to avoid becoming the cormorants' next meal. DWR biologists recently installed new fish-habitat structures, which should improve fishing at this pond.
