No more complaining about rent rodder's, join in on the fun of a Rental Rod Challenge on Mother's Day 2014, May 11th. If you didn't know Ventura has the finest Rental Equipment in the business.. Avet Reels spooled with PowerPro braid and short top shots. Trip is aboard the Island Spirit out of Ventura Sportfishing. Rent rods and hooks will be provided by the landing, the only gear you will be allowed to bring is your own weights, pliers and towel. No jig or plastics allowed, everyone will be on an equal playing field. Trip departs at 6:00am on May 11th, unless the White Seabass show up then we leave at 5:00.
