Report Date:
http://wildlife.utah.govTrout fishing has improved. Many anglers are catching full limits (or close to full limits) within four to six hours. They are using many different methods, including trolling with Rapalas or spinners, or dunking PowerBait or worms. The average fish size is about 12 to16 inches. Bass fishing has slowed because there is very little cover. The north and east sides are the best places to catch bass. Anglers are keeping bass that weigh about two to four pounds. Perch fishing is decent, but the fish are only about six inches long. Hyrum's tagged fish contest will begin in September. Thanks to Park Ranger Eric Bradshaw for the report.
