In the morning, you can catch trout in water 20 to 25 feet of water, but they descend to depths of 40 to 45 feet in the afternoon. Anglers recommend trying green whirly buggers and kokanee lures. A shore angler reported slow fishing, but he was getting bites on hot pink PowerBait fished just off the bottom.
