Anglers report catching larger kokanee during the pre-spawn fishing. The kokanee are starting to turn red for the spawn. Possession of kokanee salmon is prohibited during the spawning run. This reservoir is closed to the possession of kokanee salmon with any red coloring from August 15 through 6 a.m. on the last Saturday of September.
