Kirch Wildlife Management Area Fish Report

Nevada Department of Wildlife

Report Date:

http://www.ndow.org

Fishing has been slow for all species on Haymeadow and Cold Springs. The water temperature is about 64 degrees at the boat launches. Aquatic vegetation is still making launching and navigation difficult at both reservoirs and at Adams-McGill as well. Action at the upper end of Adams Reservoir has been slow. The story is different at Dacey reservoir where anglers have had good success for both bass and trout. Bass are biting black plastic worms rigged Texas style and trout are hitting small black spinners. Trout also are hitting dry flies. Dacey is artificial lure only and the use of PowerBait is prohibited.
