Angler Tom Ogden visited the reservoir this past week and reported consistent fishing for rainbow trout. They ranged from 15-17 inches long. He used a medium-sink (#3) line in the morning with a size 6 beadhead Canada blood leech, a size 6 beadhead black/green/pearl soft-hackle fly and a size 6 beadhead (white bead) tan/brown soft-hackle fly. In the afternoon, he used fast-sinking line (#7) and size 4 beadhead (white) tan/green/pearl crystal bugger, a #6 beadhead purple leech and a size 6 beadhead black/orange woolly bugger. The water temperature was 54-55??F, and the algae reduced visibility to about four or five feet.
